The Inmate Worker Program has picked up over 22,500 bags of trash for Bath County. This program is a huge success for this community. The program uses inmates from the Clark County Regional Jail. To qualify for the program the inmates must be non-violent offenders and be chosen as model prisoners by Clark County Regional Jail.
The Inmate Mileage Program is a State Program that reimburses Bath County for transporting felony prisoners across county lines. Bath County has never participated in this program before, and it is a huge success! This Program FULLY FUNDS the purchase of two new jailer vehicles in use today. The new vehicles have saved the county over $12,000 per year in vehicle repairs.
