Bath County Jailer Earl Willis

The Inmate Worker Program has picked up over 22,500 bags of trash for Bath County. This program is a huge success for this community. The program uses inmates from the Clark County Regional Jail. To qualify for the program the inmates must be non-violent offenders and be chosen as model prisoners by Clark County Regional Jail. 

The Inmate Mileage Program is a State Program that reimburses Bath County for transporting felony prisoners across county lines. Bath County has never participated in this program before, and it is a huge success! This Program FULLY FUNDS the purchase of two new jailer vehicles in use today. The new vehicles have saved the county over $12,000 per year in vehicle repairs.

One of the benefits of the Inmate Worker Program is the cleaning and care of long forgotten local cemeteries. This program has worked hard to maintain the history and heritage of Bath County.
